Happy Christmas! Cruces, here we come!!! :)

Well, we survived the week with my family! Christmas was awesome and we got lots of fun, useful, and thoughtful presents from Mom's, Dad's, Mattie's, and other assorted siblings and family members. (THANKS ALL!!!) We played a lot of Wii and became highly proficient at figure skating, bobsledding, and most especially curling (however, not so proficient at hockey, or any other winter sport when it comes to Wii gaming standards... :( lol)

Thank you Mom and Dad Taylor for having us and thanks to Kyle for letting us kick you out of bed repeatedly and nearly unannounced! :S

Now that the Christmas madness is over, we've officially moved camp back into our comfy condo. While I was slaving at work (we had less than 10% of our usual orders, so I got a lot of reading done till Rod let most of us go home) my diligent wife cleaned up all our Christmas decorations, assembled and arranged all our new bedding, and all in all did a pretty awesome job considering she's sick and still got up to see me off to work early early!

All we have left for this laid back relaxed week is to finish our slideshow for the Cruces reception, pack and clean before we leave, help plan our open house for Saturday, drive 12 hours to see our wicked awesome family, party like it's 1999 on Thursday night, stand around in stuffy clothes for a couple hours while people come see how beautiful my bride is, and then drive home Sunday just in time to face a new semester and all new (or at least mostly new) classes. Nothin really, just a week in the life of the most amazingly vivacious couple ever to hit the streets of a town I like to call life!

Anywhoo, thanks again to all those who gave us gifts, monies, and other incredibly thoughtful and helpful things over this holiday season. We really do appreciate all the help! It's been a true Godsend.

Well, there's another week in the life, thanks for tuning in, hope you'll all be back next week for more fun and excitement from your favorite blogging couple: Trevor and Ivy Taylor!!!

Christmas Time

Trevor and I both took our last final yesterday and both got A's! Yay, a good way to end such a hectic semester! He also got work off today so since he didn't have to wake up early this morning we decorated our Christmas tree last night. It was a pretty sad little thing but with a little work, it looks very nice. And its made our home feel much more Christmas-y. If we find a spare minute we may even try to get our stockings made today.
We're writing Thank You cards today which should be fun. We have been blessed with such generous friends and family. It will be nice to be able to thank them :)

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

We're Blogging!

well... we're blogging! :) this is... exciting? lol, Ivy and I were married 4 weeks ago, and have absolutely enjoyed every second of it! (ok, well i have, and i'm pretty sure i can speak for both of us... but if you're wondering, ask her)

i'm madly in love with my stupendously incredible wife, and she seems to be rather fond of me, although she doesn't seem too fond of the fact that i'm sitting out here setting up out blog instead of getting ready for bed cuz we have to be up early tomorrow... lol, but i'm the luckiest guy in the world! and i hope that from this blog, and from all the adventures and excitement we post here, all the whole world will recognize that fact :)

Mari's farewell tomorrow... Godspeed Sister!
